Post Graduate Studies

As you know, now I study dentistry and one of the postgraduates I plan to do is pediatrics. The reasons I would take this postgraduate is because I love children. In fact I have a 3 years old little sister and I love to be with her and I know how to deal with her.Another postgraduates I would like to do is about forensic dentistry, oral and dental science and traumatology dentistry.

The other most important postgraduate for me is the traumatology dentistry because on summer of this year my little sister fell down stairs and two of their little teeth get off. We went to the hospital but there were no specialist to see her… Is important to learn about this because I want to be there to help people in this or similar situations.

I would like to study forensic dentistry in other countries like UK or maybe US because here in Chile this postgraduate is not so developed. About the others… I don’t care if it is in Chile or not because my university have them.

I would like to study a full time or blended system postgraduate… but if in that time I’m working or doing something that take a lot of my time, I would like distance learning or a part-time course.
Another thing I would like to do (and maybe, I will do) is to do a special course that a brand named Curaprox have for dentist and it’s about Oral hygiene instruction. This course is very famous in Europe and in Chile it is just being implemented. Now I have a level 1 certification but I would like to learn and certify more for helping people and prevent caries and different diseases.

My future job

Dentistry, my dream job.

Since I was a little girl I always want to be a dentist. For me it was very interesting and amazing how a person can be a doctor and an artist at the same time!
A dentist usually works indoors maybe in a clinic or a hospital, but I would like to work outdoors too because I want to teach people how to take care about their oral healthy, using different washing techniques in their teeth.
Like I said I would like to teach people about dentistry and it can be in different places in the country. If in the future I can do that I will travel to the poorest town because there the education about healthy in general is very low.
About the salary… I really don’t care so much if I am happy doing the job I love.
I would like to be a pediatric dentist because I love children or a maxillofacial surgeon. I would like to make a master or postgraduate too in King’s College of London or in some quality university in UK.
And finally… after work, study and teaching to people a long time, I would like to be a teacher in a university because I always dream about it and there is nothing better to learn about the job I love, dentistry.

My favorite film: Avatar

It was summer of 2010 and my family and me were on holidays in Santiago. We went to the cinema to see our first 3D movie, Avatar.
For me it doesn't matter if the movie was in 3D or not, because the story and the fiction the movie has is just enough to love the movie.

The movie is set in the future (2154) and it is about a quadriplegic ex-soldier named Jake Sully that his twin was a scientist and he died. They were twins so they shared the same DNA and now the people who worked with his brother need him to continue their project, travel and learn about the unknown planet Pandora where the Na'vi, a species of 3 meters tall, blue-skinned, sapient humanoids, lives in harmony till the humans came to their planet.

The director, producer, writer and co-editor of this movie is James Cameron, the same person who made great movies like all the Terminator movies and the Titanic. The main actors are Zoe Saldana, she personifies (the same lady that plays as Gamora in The Guardians of the Galaxy) and Sam Worthing.
My favorite scene is very difficult to choose... but I think is the part of the movie where Jake travels to all the tribes of the planet to get forces to battle the humans because they are killing their planet.

My favorite actor's line is “I don't need luck, I don't want it. All my life I have had to fight and that has made me strong. It has made me who I am.” - Jake Sully.
