A teacher that has inspired me

Carolina Pérez, that is the name of my biology teacher and for me she is the best of all.
It was March of 2016 when she started to teach us common and elective biology, she prepared us for the PSU. At that time I was in 3rd grade in highschool.
She has brown hair, green eyes and a little brunette skin. She is very friendly, empathetic and affectionate.

Our first class was about the function and the structure of the cell. The form she taught us about this subject for me is inspiring because in the way she teach about biology it looks so easy and I hope someday I can teach to students in the same way she used to do it: using a lot of colors and drawings, as she said, “dibujos dibujables”.

She spent all the summer confectioning every class of the year and this is for the elective and common biology of 3rd and 4th grade in highschool, AND in the evening she still teaches in the preuniversitary. ¡She is a completely multifasetic person!
The people who used to hate biology, with her they understand things that they never thought they could understand and learn.

In 2017 I went in the preuniversitary where she teaches, and at that time she was pregnant.
My elective class made a surprise baby shower for her. For me that's one of the best example to show how the students love her and how is her quality to get the student.

UK: My best holiday ever(?)

I don't know if consider this trip like 100% holiday because we were there to study.
We travel to UK in January of 2017 we stay there for one month and that time was enough to fall in love with this country.
The people who travel with me were people of my school generation and two teachers. In this group was my boyfriend and he was the person with whom I went everywhere.
We stay all month in a guest house.

The first two weeks we went everywhere by group. Dave was our guide and he was from UK so he knows exactly where to go. He guide and told us about the Tower of London, the London Eye, the Buckingham Palace, etc.
One day we went to the British Museum and exactly that day, there were a power outage so they evacuated all the museum for security, we only spent an hour there... that was so unlucky haha.

My boyfriend and I love to eat so the other two weeks we spent the time to eat in restaurants that are not here in Chile, like Nando's or Pizza Pilgrims (this place have the most delicious pizza I ever eat!)
But food wasn't the only thing we did. We were to Trafalgar Square and Picadilly Circus, and near there was a famous toy store named Hamleys. This store have everything you can imagine, when me and my bf came there we felt like we were in a real magic place. I was awesome. Seven floors of pure magic.

This was the best holiday because I went to one of the country I ever dream to know and it was amazing, the people, the culture, everything... I just fall in love. I hope someday to live in UK.

Italy: Culture and pasta

For a little girl of 10 years old is very amazing that a city is full of water and the common transport are boats (then a lot of years after someone tell my the boats call "gondola") and there are not cars or buses. Well, that was the first time I want with all my heart to visit a city, Venecia in Italy.

Is more to say that I love to eat, so I know that Italy in these sense has a lot to offer... there are the most delicious pizzas, pastas and here was created the mozzarella and mascarpone cheese.
Panna cotta and tiramisú are original of Italy, so I would like to lunch pasta and then eat dessert of  tiramisú. That would be wonderful. The food of Italy is one of the reasons I would like to travel to this country.

Then the other reason is the culture and the language. In Verona they have the "House of Juliet" wich is a medieval palace where supposed to live Juliet Capuletto, the girl of the famous book of William Shakeaspeare, Romeo and Juliet.
In the city call Pisa  is the Tower of Pisa and that's I think is the most curiosity thing that Italy have. Why this tower is leaning? Why it still there if it is so leaning?!

If someday I go to Italy, it could be for touring all the country and learn the language, so maybe it could be for study but some relax study.
I hope this blog encourage you to meet Italy, this country has a lot to offer.
